Hey fellas,

My little brother is going to graduate from high school this May. The 2nd week of June he will be shipping out to basic training in Georgia with the intent to become a paratrooper. My father and I were wanting to do something special with him before he ships out to basic and we've always had an interest in hog hunting.

We were thinking about taking a trip to either Oklahoma or Texas to do this hog hunt, but as of right now, the week we are available to hunt (March 24-28th) is already booked for most of the outfitters.

My question: Does anybody know of any local farmers/ranchers that would allow a few out-of-staters to come shoot some nuisance hogs? We wouldn't mind paying access fees.

I'm definitely not asking for any honey holes or sweet spots, just trying to figure out some possible areas to go to before we make an 18 hour drive.

Any input/advice would be greatly appreciated
