A Game Warden told a friend of my dads that you will be able to legally take a bobcat starting next year. Limiting one tag per person. Can anybody confirm this?

The bill is still pending in the Illinois house. You need to contact your State representatives and tell them to support HB4226. They have been talking about this since 2009. Don't hold your breath.

However, if it does pass and you do get a tag, I guarantee some great calling action. No bobcat hunting since 1972? Ridiculous...That state has to be covered up with bobcats.
