I got a real chance to try out my new Wildfire II today. The hunting partner and I hunted hard all day, only called in and killed one coyote but it was a good day none the less. The call performed perfectly with good sound that I felt was loud enough even for our open sandhills. Remote range was great, with the farthest setup at 123 yards. I was within sight of it on every stand and elevated it about 10 to 12 inches with a metal rod I bent into a stake to hang it from. The call is also light enough that it's not a burden on a 4 mile hike, I can't imagine carrying a Prarie Blaster around, lol.
If I had one complaint it's that the remote is a little hard to read in certain light, and the buttons are difficult to feel with mittens on. I need some adhesive buttons to stick on it.
Overall very happy with my investment.
