Just because I like to smell like antler I decided to do a set of scales out of it.
Didn't take long to figure out they don't cut very easy on the bandsaw but I lived through the whole process with only minor skin loss. Just had to do one of these.

Worst thing about antler is what it does to your sinuses. If I don't wear a mask, it'll have me blowin' my nose for 2 days, non-stop......................

Thanks guys!! Brian the steel is 440c. I didn't make the blade just did a little reshape and bead blasted it to get the shine off.
