Skinning knife

We all called him the deerskinner cuz people would drop off their deer for him to skin and quarter out. I always wondered what brand of knife he had but I am not sure if it was a Woodswalker. I am curious how does this hold an edge? I am kind of tired using my pocket knife to skin small game and get schit between the blades when they are closed which makes it a bear to clean and keep oiled. Anyway I am thinking of this Woodswalker...thanks for bringing this up.

They hold an edge pretty well logstove.
As you probably know, the Japanese can make some pretty good SS when they want to.
It wouldn't be my first choice for skinning Deer but for small game or furbearers in the field they're pretty handy.
