I hunt ducks alot and have some freinds that want to go and learn but dont want to take any birds. Most dont own a shot gun and dont want to buy a permit.

If they are in the blind watching with no gun or anything do they still need a permit? Is there an aiding an abetting taking of game?

Question my dad asked and I didnt have an answer. Thanks.

As long as your friends don't actively participate in taking game, I don't see any problem at all.
You should probably run it by your local authorities just to be on the safe side.

Don't see an issue should be able to watch as long as there not a gun in there hand. I would give F&G a call as well and see if they require them to atleast have a valid hunting license

That is always the best advice.

I know its an old topic, but someone else might be wondering the same thing.

They can be with you as long as they do not aid in the take, like you said. So that would mean they cannot put out decoys, call, retrieve the game, or anything like that. All they can do is sit and watch.
