Ohhh no you don't. You're not getting off that easy. It'll take a better excuse than that, lol. But to explain what I meant.... Years ago, after an all nighter out in the Mojave, I got shot in the leg by a foggy-headed rabbit hunter in the morning. "I'm sorry man. I just wasn't thinking", was all he could say. Since then, I don't drink and hunt, and don't hunt with those who do. I'll still stay up all night and drink yer arse under the table. But I won't go out hunting the next morning. That's just my own personal standard, and I don't try to push it off on anyone else. That could be one of the reasons why I hunt alone a lot.

I would tend to agree with you. Now that I started shooting silhouettes, there is no shooting after you had a drink. Why take any chances?
I stopped hunting with the in laws because after Sunday they do 'deer drives' and will have a beer or two between drives. It's a dangerous way to hunt to begin with (we have people shot every year here in WI during drives) why add to it.

Lance, I can't say that I've ever seen you (or Jeff) in an "unsafe" mode when you were packin'. Of course, the night before would be a different story, lol.

My doctor has told me I should quit drinking too. I don't drink that much to begin with, but heck there's not much left to give up as it is.
