A dangerous precedent to all states

An urgent alert: Nevada Senate Bill 221

This is a gun registry. In a nut shell, if signed into law it would require a background check when a firearm is sold/transferred between private individuals. If it becomes law it will affect every private sale in Nevada, including to holders of CCW’s. A dangerous precedent to set for any/all states to follow.

The text of the bill can be read here…
SB221

It has passed Nevada State legislature and is on Governor Brian Sandoval’s desk. According to local news he will supposedly veto this bill. While this is in general a pro gun state with pro gun law enforcement, "supposedly" is not good enough.

Those who jump on band wagons to fight gun control can contact and urge Governor Sandoval to veto SB221. You DO NOT have to be a Nevada resident to do so.

Contact info:

Governor Brian Sandoval
Call: 775-684-5670 to urge his veto (choose option #2)

Thanks

Thanks for the heads up, Ladobe.

Takes only 30 seconds (by my watch) to make this call. Surely, we can all afford to spend thirty seconds to encourage the governor to veto this bill!

This fire mission has been going on for a while and on several sites. Sandoval has said ( past And recently) he will veto the bill (as it is written). We all know we can trust politicians right? Phone poll is about 4-1 against 221. Hopefully the Governor is a man of his word.

One more nail in the anti-gun liberals' coffins. Now if we can just get a handful of them recalled in Colorado to get that ball rolling. Lawsuit or two shoots down a few of these idiotic laws they passed, and 2014 ain't looking good for the Democrats.
