Pursuit 6-24x44 scope ????

Hi I just bought a savage model 11 in 204 and was looking for a scope for ground hog hunting. I found bass pro has these on sale pursuit 6-24x44 are they worth anything or should I keep looking. thanks

Took a look at Bass Pro site to see your pursuit scope. Never heard of it, so can't comment about it. If you want that power range of scope that has a side focus on it, for around $90 (think it has free shipping but not sure) Graf and Sons has a 6-24x44 BSA Majestic DX Hunter on sale. This Majestic normally sells for around $140. Have three, two on mid recoiling centerfire rifles and one recently moved to a 22 LR rifle from another low recoiling centerfire rifle. Decent optics in the Majestic DXs and they've served OK for my frequent times at range shooting paper.
