Hello to all!
My name is Paul Steinhoff "One shot Paul" I am the lucky winner of Mike Paul's Remington model 700-243. Mike, what a FIRST class job you did on this rifle, simply amazing!! THANK YOU. I would also like to thank "HuntingvsWife" Jim Maner. Jim called me and asked me if I wanted to go Varmit hunting with him. I told him I'd never hunted predators but I'd love to go. From the first time out I was hooked. It wasn't very long until I shot my first coyote. You would have thought I'd won the lottery. I was jumping up and down yelling and screaming, what a rush! I am sure most if not all of you know this feeling. We have hunted many times since. Then he told me about "PM", that night I logged on to check out the site and decided to join. He called me a few days later and asked me if I would be interested in going down for the hunt in Globe. I said, "Sounds like fun, I would like to go." We came down on Thursday night, made 13 stands on Friday and 12 on Saturday. We saw 7 coyotes, shot 3 and I missed one. Something must have been wrong with my rifle. From the time we arrived we met alot of the club members. What a bunch of great guys you are! I heard alot of funny stories, one in particular was about a packrat and a squirrel throwing pinecones. Not to mention names but you know who you are. I still laugh everytime I think about it. I will remember this hunt for a long time. Thanks Jim for getting me hooked!! I look forward to the next hunt hopefully seeing you guys again.
Sincerely,
Paul Steinhoff

When is the next event in Globe, AZ? I am from there and just found the board. I'd love to get involved in a comp down there.

Paul, I sure hope you put that rifle to goo use. I know there was around 30 people there that were disapointed that it wasnt riding home in their truck ( me included). Congratulations, and Welcome to PM and this fun sport of predator hunting.

coues7 - We hold this hunt once a year, usually in January. There has been some confusion about this in the past, this is not a competition hunt. Its a simple gathering of fellow predator hunters from all over the country (occasionally all over the world) sharing common ground, sharing techniques and showing support for Predator Masters. You are welcome to come on down and have some fun.

Great Job Paul!!! I am still wondering why I gave you a ride home from Globe. You win the grand prize and I win the shotgun choke tube case. Hmm! The least you could have done is given me the Nikon scope off the gun. Not really! Thanks for going with me. It was an absolute blast. Welcome to the sport of Predator Hunting.

Paul,
Thanks for the kind words. You are most certainly welcome! The rifle and bore were given a thorough cleaning and I ran a light coat of bore conditioner down the barrel afterwards. You won't need to patch it out, just shoot it.

If you have any questions on anything, be sure to contact me. Now go out and shoot that sucker!

Congrats Paul, I really hope you enjoy my rifle.

I hope you realize that winning that rifle caries immense responsibilities. It is sort of like King Arthur's sword, you know the one in the stone.
Since it is indeed the greatest prize offered so far at the PM hunt it carries with it the obligation to post pictures of everything shot with it.

Hope you enjoy you rifle and welcome to the PM clan.

Hey Jim! look on the bright side, at least we both won something, I'm just glad you won the choke tube case and I won the rifle. I was also thinking in case you are scratching your head wondering what to do with your booby prize- I mean your "CHOKE TUBE CASE", remember the last coyote you shot in Globe- you shot it right between the eyes and its eye balls almost popped out of it's skull. In case that happens again you can use your booby prize-oops I mean "CHOKE TUBE CASE" to put them into! Also Redfrog I will gladly send any pictures of anything I get with this gun. Thanks " One shot Paul".
