Stay to the east of the river destroyer. In fact, a drive up tres alamos wash if you have a 4x4 is some very productive calling area too. Three Links road till you hit the powerline is also fair for coyotes, all that country that is packed with pickly pear is super calling. Some of the local ranches are putting out poison this time of year to hammer the coyotes before calving so area past powerline is not to hot this time of year for calling. Head towards san manuel up cascabel though, and keep hitting the pockets to east of river you'll do good.

Hi, everyone, I would like to get in on this hunt. I know a little about that area when I was a GI stationed there about 10 years ago. Not sure if I would be much use as a guide since it has been so long. If any of you keep the pelts I will be happy to donate any coyotes I get.

SE of the hot springs puts you right in the tres alamos wash area.....good calling around there. Any of the country around johnny lyons hills are cat magnets and some grey fox too. Sybil road behind Stuckys is a good turn to take also, although more and more land being gobbled up by private development as we all know.

This is sounding like one heck of a get together. Cant wait to meet those of you I didn't meet at this years PM hunt. Dont count us out of staters out. We will be there to give em hell. Hope we all can have fun and not be to competative. These get to gethers are great fun. Not just for the hunt but for the time shared with hunters from other areas and put faces to names.

DANG! I wish I lived a little closer! I've been interested in a similar type hunt closer to me, but unfortunately 95% of Texas is privately owned so this type of hunt is a lot harder to pull off. I did get to meet up with a PM member last week for a hunt and scored on one coyote. One of these days if funds (and wife) allow, I would like to attend one of these hunts. Kill a few for me, and post plenty of pictures so the rest of of can live vicarioulsy through ya'll.
