What? I don't get it. All I see is the side of a normal truck. Wait oh I get it, it's to shinny, go over it with a scotch pad soaked in lacker thinner and you'll be able to get rid of that awful shine.

I see you've been using Robb's patented "Mesquite Buffing Compound".

A few more applications and that truck'll be so dull, it'll suck the shine off of anything you park it next to.

Those aint scratches, those are character lines! And it looks like your truck could use more!

Looks like AZ pinstripping to me too!!! Still see a lot of reflections yet. Like McCasland said, a scotch pad will fix that or you can spend some more time on AZ "roads"

It's only the first ones that hurt. All future pinstriping events will only add more character to your truck and will be easily shrugged off. At least you have a good color, you should see what happens to darker colors.

Yeah like our big black ford, not much for a hunting rig loud as all get out.

Sorry guys. I'm not the brightest bulb around. Are you referring to the lines resembling stretch marks . If so, what causes them? Exposure to the hot southwest sun? Best wishes and a head scratch.

Cal, the brush (creosote bushes, ocotillas, etc)in the southwest are quite brutal. Those are scratches in the paint, and anyone who hunts the rougher areas of the southwest is gonna get 'em!

I forgot some of my keys tonite, so rather than go home, Iwent up a "holler" I haven't been in in over 30 years. In the middle of 1 big mud bog I felt things heading south on me in a big way. I knew if I didn't do something quick, I was looking at a 6 mile walk at 28 degrees. So I used good old gravity, turned 'er downhill, into the mulitflora rose, went thru about a hundred yards of it to get down to the next flat.

Now for you guys that never experienced this little beauty, its best described as living 3 strand barbed wire. I've seen does stuck in this stuff!
I know that when I see it in the daylight the character is just gonna be awesome!!
