I'm pretty certain whomever was pulling raffle tickets became confused, wasn't sure which ticket to pull out for the rifle but meant to pull my ticket out. Where's Al Gore? I gotta talk to him about this...

(Actually, I'm surprised I won anything...I never win anything! )

I wish I coulda been there, Ive just been reading the posts about all the fun that was had. It sounds like everybody enjoyed themselves. I am glad to hear that.

I am looking forward to the Higgins Howler, Ran, make sure you insure it well and use UPS if you can, my mail is not always what it should be.

I am looking forward to taking that howler out around NE, and it will come with me to LBL. I saw that and about fell out of my chair.

God willing, I will see you all in '03.

I'll have to chime in and say a "GREAT BIG THANK YOU" to all the folks who donated prizes and those who did all the work sending out tickets, etc. Wish I could have been there. One of these years, when the work is all done, I'll be there! Thanks again!

Stephen,
You will need to contact Jason on the firearm, and Randy on the rest. Just shoot them an email, and they will take care of you. I believe Randy already has your address, but you will need to contact Jason about the rifle, and how it will be shipped. Thanks for your help, Mike

Once again, we would like to thank eveyone for their donations. You guys help keep our board ticking! -MP

Huh!? Well I'll be, I actually won something. I never win stuff. This is pretty cool. Sure wish I could have been there myself to collect the decal, but I was out filling the freezer with tasty venison.

Sure sounds like you all had a great time at the hunt. Maybe next year I won't get drawn for deer and can make it over. Wait, did I just say that?

Congratulations to all the others that won prizes and a million thank yous to the guides, organizers, donaters, and other supporters of this (apparently) great event.

Do I need to make special arrangements to receive the decal, or will it be mailed to the return address I provided?

Again, thanks.

MY friend, you have missed something. Maybe a couple of things. This was NOT a contest. There was no organized "competition". This WAS an opportunity to share your skills with those who wanted to learn, or to learn from some of the most skilled callers in the country. This WAS a chance to meet face to face some of the authors of all those posts that educate and entertain us on this board. And it was the opportunity to hunt the same mountains, deserts and canyons where Cochise and Geronimo ruled supreme, including the reservation where the Chiricahua nation was once imprisoned. Where mountain lions come down to pose for your camera, and coyotes literally jump in your lap, and javalina's will chase you back into your truck. You're right Mjr, but you'll never know how much you've missed until you've been there. Hope to see you next year!
