Mr. Buster - Easy now son, Although it may appear as such, this isn't a war. Besides we have members of both boards here and we don't want to make them decide between their loyalties. I was trying to lay out an honest question with the possibility of enhancing hunting oppertunities for both or at the very least not stomping on each other. Now common guys I am trying to do the decent thing here, lets not go all negative, we've had quite enough of that lately.

Michael, the time spacing between the two hunts last time was very agreeable to all. Some people wanted to attend both hunts, and I can certainly understand that. Arizona is a beautiful State to hunt. Maybe PM and CG could alternate who goes first each year. Think of it as a little common ground where we can mutually agree on something. Not a biggie, but a start.

im not trying to be mean but thats how i feel towards them.
I have been to their board and it isnt near as good as this one imho. They seem to be rather mean too. I would be loyal to this board over any other any day of the week.

I'm not trying to be too demanding here but - Coyote buddy please - LETS MOVE ON HERE, I'd like the Coyote Gods board not to be a point of discussion - okay. This question probably should have been made on private E-mail.

Is this trip open to all predatormaster members? What are the costs? Sounds like a cool trip, I could possibly swing by some NM hunting ground on the way to or the way back, maybe even check up on some of the tips that NMKID graciously gave out. later pup.

pup... i'm not sure if this is official yet, but i heard a RUMOR... a RUMOR, mind you, that an UNofficial vote was taken last year by some of those attending the hunt.

Based on bvomark's performance, i think it was agreed that we would ban all Oklahomans from attending any future PM Hunts.
Again, i wasn't there, that's just what i heard....

Hahhahaha, just kidding!!! Marky was A-OK, pardon the pun!!

Ah, yes!! Encore, our Unofficial ambassador of UNwill!!!

pup, it is open to all PM members. Cost structure is pretty simple; nothing for the hunt, nothing for the guides, nothing for the.....

Well, you have to pay your own transportation, lodging, food, and..... you will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets. If you wish to do so.

PS: No cost for Encore's abuse, either.

Citr it would be nice to go alittle earlier than the end of Nov if possible.

Remember we discussed the moon cycle last year. I sure hope we can work out a dark phase of the moon for the hunt.

Being situated between the 42nd and 43rd parallel and sitting on about 2000 acres of crops to harvest means I don't usually get to bug out till Nov. 1st at the earliest. I know this puts me in the minority here, so if it has to be earlier then so be it. I'll aim for 2003 or whenever. I just wanted to put a vote in for mid to late Nov.

Keep in mind what the weather in Globe will be like in Sept/Oct. Lots of coyote, but they won't be wearing their finest yet.

Just a couple of thoughts....

There are a couple of 3 day weekends during the projected hunt window. Monday, October 14 is Columbus Day and Monday, November 11 is Veterans Day (AKA Remembrence Day in Canada). I think either of these weekends might be the best time for some of the Guvmint cheese eaters to get away for an extended weekend.

I vote for 9-11 November. It's a federal holiday 3 day weekend. The fur ain't gonna get any better. The weather should be fairly mild. The days won't be too short.

Oh yeah, and I can probably afford to go by then. The financial black hole known as racing season is over in September.

AZGFD hasnt released the 2002-2003 Regs yet... the Big Game season dates will play a big part in what time slots we have to choose from...

Its still 100* in October so that and earlier is a NO-GO for sure.

Y'all keep your pants on !

That would be a haul to drive... it would mean an extra 5 days or so...
With today's World Affairs, does anyone know if hunting gear is still allowed stowed in the belly of a plane?
If that's the case, the PM hunt may be feasable...
If not, I might have to wait until next year... Queeny, the boys and I may do a Western road trip. November might be a bit chilly in Montana and Wyoming, though! LOL
Maybe we'll stay South...
