SCHEDULE FOR HUNT:

The hunt dates are Nov. 30th thru Dec. 2nd. Predator Masters will furnish the guides who are familiar with the selected hunt locations. No hunter will be charged a fee for any and all guide services rendered.

The Hunt will be centered at Globe, AZ.
Starting from: Phoenix, AZ
Arriving at: Globe, AZ
Distance: 87.1 miles
Approximate Travel Time: 2 hours 13 mins

We are leaving it up to the guide to decide where they want to hunt on a daily basis. Anyone attending the hunt may find themselves hunting in the desert at dawn, and by sun down, be amongst pines in the high country.

It is expected that the assigned hunters will contribute equally to cover the costs of daily food and fuel expenses generated during the hunt. The guides will be providing the transportation.

SCHEDULE FOR HUNTERS:

Nov. 29 (Thursday): Those who plan to hunt on the reservation and do not have their permits can pick them up today.

GET-TOGETHER #1: Noon through the afternoon. This is an informal, unstructured get-together.

GET-TOGETHER #2: Meet for dinner. Guides and hunters formulate plans for the following day.

Nov. 30 (Friday): Hunt as planned previously.
Stay overnight as individually desired, as it may be too far back to Globe for a get-together this night. If guide-hunter switching is desired, that is arranged between those individuals.

Dec. 1 (Saturday): Continue hunting, as previously planned.

GET-TOGETHER #3: This is informal and unstructured, and some may get back to the Globe area too late to attend.

Dec. 2 (Sunday):

GET-TOGETHER #4:Meet for lunch, and continuing into the afternoon, door prizes or whatever to be given out, fellowship, and general lie-swapping. This is the biggest, most important get-together, and the ONE that no one should want to miss.

NOTE 1: All get-togethers except the last are informal, unstructured, and optional. The Sunday lunch and afternoon get-together should be structured and everyone should try to attend.

NOTE 2: All locations and times will be posted when finalized)

GET-TOGETHER #2 will be in the private back room at the Country Kitchen, 1505 E. Ash Street in Globe, at 5-7 pm on Thursday, November 29th. THE ROOM IS PAID FOR BY ORDERING DINNER, so plan to come if you can make it then, have dinner, visit, and the guides and their hunters can finalize plans for the hunt, if not already done. The room has a capacity of about 35, and I have estimated that about 30 will attend.

On Sunday, December 2, for GET-TOGETHER #4, a dining area in the Country Kitchen, seating 64 people, will be roped off for us, so it will be semi-private. We have this area from 12 noon until 5 pm. A drink station will be set up so that servers will not be disturbing us during the formal meeting portion. Ordering meals will be individual, which will take more time, but each can order and pay individually. I estimated that we will have 60 people attending, but made no guarantee as to numbers. However, we want to stress that people are expected to order meals and eat there; that is how the room is paid for. There is not charge to us, other than our meals. Alcoholic beverages are available there.

Craig Hamilton will be handling the Sunday activities. If you have ideas for that meeting, let him know.

I would like to add that arrangements at Country Kitchen have been made with the owner, Donald Schmidt, who has bent over backwards to accomodate us. Let's respond by treating him right!!!

A location for outdoor gatherings, with camping, is being pursued at this time.

Critr, do you have details on Get-Together #1 and #3? I am guessing #1 is Thurs. 11/29 someplace in Globe that has beer and pizza. #3 is obviously Sat. 12/1, probably at the campsite, beginning when you get there and ending when you've had enough? Can I get an Amen?

I had envisioned #1 at the outdoor campsite, hunters filtering in as they arrive. Possible alternate location in town. Informal, unstructured.

#2 at Country Kitchen, 5-7 pm. come at 5 pm and eat dinner. That is how we pay for the room. Informal and unstructured.

#3 at campsite. Possible alternate location in town. Informal and unstructured.

#4 at Country Kitchen, 12 noon - 5 pm. come and eat about noon. That is how we pay for having the space for 5 hours. Craig is structuring a program, with time to visit and get acquainted. This is the biggie!!!ALL COME!!!

Robb, you want to locate an alternate to the campsite for those who want liquid libations, or simply do not care to drive out to the campsite??

(Pizza sounds good.....)

i always had the impression that Globe, Arizona, was a hard-bitten desert mountain mining town.
Can't wait to see what Robb comes up with!

YIKES !!!! Disco is dead in Globe. Not even a Honky-Tonk ! First town I ever saw that had more churches than bars.

Humphrey's Two Lane (On hwy60 less than a mile West of the Hwy 60-Hwy70 Junction ) and Pizza Hut (two doors down) are about the only places big enough to hold us and the regular customers too. There's a joint down in Old-Town Globe, "The Drift Inn", but it looks like it might be a bit crowded for what were looking for. Everything else that would do, looks like if it had 20 people it would be packed.

Else its Casino "Lounge-Lizard" action ...
