Status of Wyoming Public Land PD Hunting?

I drew an antelope tag for Wyoming Unit 29 this fall. If things go well, I hope to do a little prairie dog shooting also. I have heard conflicting reports about hunting them on public lands (Thunder Basin Grassland, for example), as far as if it is legal this year or not. I assume hunting them on private land would still be legal.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me, or point me towards a reliable source for such information?

The Wyoming Game and Fish Dept. is the best source for reliable information.

When I talked to them about this a couple of months ago, they told me no changes this year. Except for the closures (Thunder Basin), it's "open season" as it's always been. They did say to expect some big changes next year though /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif .
