Here are some updated pictures of the rifle I built. I have added a free float hand guard, and some olive drab rail guards. I have also added an ergonomic hand grip that has a palm swell and thumb rest. It forces the shooter to use the last digit of your finger rather than squeezing it any old way. This is a good thing given I have a rock river arms 2 stage trigger. That big piece of glass is a 22X Tasco target scope I am using until I get my hunting loads developed.
Notice the "slick side" upper? There is no brass deflector or dust cover on this rifle, just the way Mr Stoner designed it.
