Today's Hare

Our five day hare season opened today here in Pa. Met up with my dad and a cousin at 8am to start hunting. The hounds jumped a hare early and pounded the entire time. We went three for three, home by 11:30am.

Way to go!! Great looking dogs and nice hares.

I'm up to 18 with Tank now, working lots of overtime so I'm not getting out as much as I would like, I would like to break 30 hare by the end of the season on March 31st.

beagler what kind of bloodlines are you running in those hounds? nice pics too!! ive been wanting to head up to the u.p. in michigan and run hare bad. just cant find time to do it.

5 day season? Holy cow - I guess I take our 6 month long (Oct. 1 thru the end of March) for granted.
