Yes. We don't like Obama. Who's next though?

Mitt "The Flippy-Floppy" Romney?

Newt: "The Model-Marriage" Gingrich?

Rick: "wait who?" Santorum?

Ron: "The Loon" Paul?

Like it or not, this forum is not an adequate representation of the country. Obama still carries a huge amount of support and is capable of running a campaign capable of slicing even the most qualified candidates down to their knees. Whoever goes against him will have a heck of a fight.

I want to know who you think can pull away support from Obama?

I see very little discussion of who you guys support (I know it's not Obama
lol.gif
).

I'm tired of the "anybody but O...." line. Let's hear it fellas.

Who do you want and why can they beat the big Zero?

It is unfortunate that the GOP seems too cut each others throats versus going after the true culprit in the race!

Obama needs to go AWAY!

I think Romney is as crooked as the next politician and i think they events over the past 32 months would continue with him.

I like Rick Santorum because he speaks the truth but he is not going to be the nomination.

I like Newt too a extent and i would hope that any of these candidates could do a better job than Obama, but, can they beat him??

I may not be very smart , but one thing I will say and it's just my opion. Any body that want's to be a politician is a crook , con , lyer and a thief . That being said which
one is going to be less suttle about it then the garbage thats there now ?

Anyone notice the PERFECT timing of the rescue of the two hostages in Somalia by seal team 6 so that it coinsided with BO national address?

How fortuitous.........................................

I hate seeing the GOP candidates cutting each other down. I'm afraid though that this vetting is necessary to bring out their shortcomings prior to one of them getting the nomination. It would be a disater if the republicans nominate a candidate who turns out to be a Kenyan idiot or something.
I like how Newt goes after the media and stands up for conservatism. None of the others explain conservative positions better. If Romney would do that, I think he would pull away from the rest and easily take the nomination. If he would grow some kahunas, stand up to his detractors, and explain his tax rate so the common voter can understand that he's already paid the top rate on the income he used to make investments, and that he now pays the capital gains rate on the income he receives from these investments. He now simply lives off those investments so he only pays taxes on capital gains. Romney is soft and seems to want to get along with the media rather than stand up for himself and fight. He reminds me of Bush who wouldn't explain his positions and let the media make him look as if he didn't care. It is impossible for a middle class person to run for the presidency. People need to understand that fact.
Santorum is a nice enough guy but couldn't even win reelection in PA. Ron Paul has some good positions on domestic issues but he's to far out in left field on international issues.
I think Romney will eventually come out of his shell and begin to defend himself, and explain his business. When he does, he will pull away and win the nomination. I think then he will begin to show the hand he intends to play against Obasm. When he begins to state the case against Obasm he can only win. Obasm has no record to run on and can only run a campaign of dirt, and division. Newt is just too good to be true for the Dems, and I think he would win on facts but lose in the mud slinging contest that is coming. I will support anyone but Obama in the fall, but really think Romney has the best shot. JMHO
I'm convinced that if Obasm stays in the White House, and Republicans fail to retake the senate, that the United States will cease to exist as we've known it. It won't be pretty.

Coyote6974,
No need to exaggerate. We heard the same things four years ago and nothing like that happened.Matter of fact we killed many of our nations enemies including Osama Bin Laden. Does not matter who the president is we won't cease to exist as you know it. This country is way bigger than every politician be it Republican or Democrat.
I stockpiled ammo 3 years ago and now trying to get rid of it before it goes bad.

The whole painful truth as I see it is that if the media in all outlets would do their job and tell the TRUTH about everyone Dems and Republicans especially obasm it would be a landslide for the Republicans anyone who has gone through these 3 years and think it is pretty...must be living in a might nice place.....Coyote6974 I am with you another 4 years of obasm will put us in a pathetic shape the country will NOT be as we knew it

After watching the last night's debate I'm pretty much convinced that Obama is here to stay another 4 years...Another stockpiling of ammo and guns is in the horizon, lol.

I like Newt and always have. I think he has more common sense than all the rest combined left or right. Do I think he can beat ohbummer? Yes I do but only if he acquires a HUGE amount of money to be able to offset the lies that zero and his media accomplisses will surely put out. There were a lot of stupid people voting in the last election. People with their hands out that actually believed the bull from the left. It is doubtful to me that they gained much intelligence in the last 32 months.

You must be an overeducated or undereducated idiot. Which one, I haven't figured out yet, but an idiot all the same.

This is not intended to be a slam Doubleplay, but IMO,your comment is extremely naive. I've watched this country over the past 50 years drifting farther and farther to the Left. The pace has accelerated at an alarming rate in the past 6 years or so. No sir,Coyote6974 is not exaggerating, but I believe you are failing to comprehend what is happening to your nation.
The problem with young folks is they have no frame of reference by which to judge changes that occur over time. With the changes that I've seen in this country, just in my lifetime,I can barely recognize it as the great America that it was.

If Obama gets reelected, then we get what we deserve. I for the life of me cannot understand how HB can support a socialist, for which he cannot deny. Socialism does not work, never has, never will. Perhaps HB is looking forward to the collapse of the greatest country the world has ever known.

Now, we sell our resources to foreign countries, so they can produce inferior products at lower costs and sell them back to us at inflated values...Our steel mills have all but disappeared, our fabric production has fallen off, and the small business community has a problem acquiring goods at a reasonable profit margin due to high volume buying by conglomerates...The various unions have driven up costs to the point that big business has little choice but to seek cost effective production out of country..

We need a serious turn around in general attitude...
