Could you post directions to the sight in range. I might be there a week early.

AWS,, I'm having to go from memory here, but I think it's the next exit on I-10, west of the Airport exit from Las Cruces...I know it's a few miles west of Las Cruces...My map program doesn't give exit numbers in that area...

There is a "Tourist" trading post at the exit and you have to take the NW service road to the range..That country is pretty flat and you can see the range from the highway...There are several shooting areas there...Some have canopies over them and some have man made walls on the side for deflecting errant rounds, as well as berms...

It is called Bowlins Old West trading post. The Old West Trading Post is located on Interstate 10 (Exit 127) about 15 miles west of Las Cruces in southern New Mexico. The range is north of it.

The exit is Corralitos Rd.

Psst, you can also head south from that exit and get into some good calling country right quick.

The country is good, but by February everybody in Cruces with even a remote idea of what predator calling is has been there a dozen times. Not to say you can't call 'em there, but it gets hit pretty hard...

Where is the location for the egg shoot? at the range mentioned? or somewhere else?

It is a few miles west of Las Cruces on Highway 10.It is the Las Cruces gun range.

I will have some maps printed off for everyone that attends the hunt.

I was trying to find the post where we talked about that but if my memory is correct I think it was 9:00am.

It says it is 12 miles west of Las Cruces off highway 10,Exit 127, north/west side of the exit.

Quick question I'm packing my stuff today, will be leaving Friday morning. From the way the rules are written, can I use my 6.5x20 scope as long as it is set below 15x at the shoot?

..We had this same problem last year... I think we started at 10 AM then...With all that is going on on Sat...People that need to leave early on Sunday need some packing/organization time on Sat AM..Especially since the Sat night banquet generally runs pretty late..

We don't need last minute time changes like last year when it started out a Noon and then was changed to 9 or 10, with the final time settled on at 10..
