Rob,
10 lbs. is a 22" barrel, BDL floor plate, and a short HS LTR stock.
Weight can vary quite a bit with barrel length and stock type and construction.
I haven't weighed the .243 AI yet.

well me going to do a m24 with a tad longer barrel. i want to see it hit the target

I took the rifles out today and shot some longer range stuff with a couple of buddies.
The .223 AI was grouping the 75 A-Maxes at 585 yards with 10.5 MOA of elevation, and the .243 AI was ringing a steel silhouette at 945 yards with 21 MOA of elevation with 105 A-Maxes.

Sweet rifles and nice groups. You guys are killing me!. I would have guessed the guns would weigh more than that
