Well I finally got the 250 savage scoped up and took her to the range. I think she is a keeper. I took the 22 mag too since I just got it back from remington doing the rebarrel from 17hmr. It was shooting good too. The savage shoots good but doesn't want to eject the spent case. The mag plate has a good size gap in it when closed. I think that is the problem. Like an 1/8" gap of play. I will call ruger in the morning and see if they still work on the old tang safety's. Now to go load up my 20 pcs of brass and start playing. I hope the 100gr nosler bt she likes because I have a bunch on hand. The target is from 50 yds 6 shot group. The one I used at 100 I brought to 50 and shot with the 22 mag. Figured since I was having ejection issues no reason to go any farther.
