San Clemente again. The housing developers keeps pushing further and further back into the Ortegas. Get ready for another lion attack from the same area.

I didn't see the actual animal on the news, only a shot of it being carried away in what looked like a pillow case. I would guess about 15 pounds? That would imply a first year coyote (or else an incredible runt). The pups are less afraid than the adults, and the adults are confident to raid back yards and trash cans. Each generation will be bolder and more assertive. Wait till these pups get REALLY hungry this winter, and see what their capable of. Story at 11:00.
