Granted, 14 inchs of snow and a busted drain pipe had a large factor on me missing the convention but the kicker was the guy that backed out at the last minute. He welched out on a P-dog hunt a couple of years ago and the PM hunt this year and has the nerve to call me and asked about the egg shoot for next year. Says he has a few rifles that will be the "ticket" for next years hunt. WHAT-EVER!! He may go, but not with me! I'm still P.O.ed about missing the hunt. Maybe 2012 will be my year to make it.

we have not set a date yet. my preference would be february again, but we haven't discussed it yet.

Psycodog, Had I known that was what was keeping you from going, I would have dropped through Tulsa and picked you up...
I picked up a pup and dog carrier just North of Ok City and took it to Gallup NM... The only problem with this year was the snow and ice that had closed down I-44 east of Ok City...It might have been a little cramped, but at least you would have gotten there...

 Know what you mean about deep snow as two years ago I was almost there to Globe when they closed the road to the Salt River and I was snowed in @ Snowflake @ the KC Motel next to the Burger King! I should have hired a sled dog but they were already booked! Good hunting!
