was out this weekend yote callin made a few stands,had two answer back but, no joy.so off down the road i go to another area, notice something kickin up dust way the hell out in the middle of this table land got the glasses on it and my brain does'nt quite get what the eyes see- several cow elk taking turns standing on their hind legs and watched one stand for about 15-20 seconds. well it takes me a few minutes to figure out that the elk are trying to stomp a yote in to the dust. i watched this for a while and the elk would in addition to rearing chase mr. yote all over the place. it was pretty cool to watch but,then i had to try to help the elk out and shoot the trouble makin varmint only i could'nt get anywhere close enough- oh well i'm sure the elk can look after theirselves.
