Are there any Oregon Trappers around here? I have been thinking about coming downd and hitting it hard for a month or so next season. I am going to call the ODoFW tomorrow and get info on the Trappers Ed. I have already started researching land ownership. I used to live in the Mcminnville/Lafeyette area and this is the area that I am considering as well as the Wilamette River between where the Yamhill hits it and the Wheatland Ferry area. Also, I will be looking at private ponds for muskrats/nutria. My main focus will be beaver,otter,coon,mink. Do any of you know of other trappers in this area? If so, do you think they would be interested in a partner for a month or so? Or do any of you Oregon boys have a desire to learn to trap? I can supply all gear needed for a great time. Any suggestions? AW
