Your pet load for .44 Mag Revolver

28.5 grains H110, 180 xtp, cci lrm primer. 1680 fps. Super Redhawk.
I don't run it in my Smith. It gets 18 grains accurate #9 under a 240 speer
lead bullet.

6 grains of bullseye with a Hornady 240 gr.SWC/HP, Hornady #1111. Use a slight crimp with a oval length of 1.600. Very accurate from my 629 Smith, and a hoot to shoot at about 900 fps. A word of caution, 6 grains, that's not much powder, one could double charge a case or cases in the loading tray. Visually inspect your loading tray before installing bullets. If one or more gets doubled it is easy to see.

Al, may the Hodgdon / Hornady gods smile on you! I think the combo will work for you, with some (fun) fine tuning. Great luck & opportunities to you,
Mark
