Few calls i did up crow, predator , 4in slate over glass turkey pot strikers ,, Walnut and hard maple .. this is one of best looking wood combos (IMO)

Good looking calls. What is the peg on the striker on the bottom of the second picture? Kinda looks like a graphite arrow shaft. If so, how does it work? I've got some cut offs that I am going to try, just haven't got it done yet. Dale

Thanks,,,,,, The peg on the bottom striker is one of them flexable tent poles thats what i been using belevive there made of carbon had bunch laying around from the kids play tents .(Iam always looking for poles ) I made some shooting sticks from them which was nice because you can make them pocket size and had some cutoffs . And i just happen to try them and they work great will play the slate when its wet . I havent tryed the arrow shafts yet but from reading they work .
