Grilled Lobster Tail

South Florida style.

Go diving, catch some bugs. Tail them.

Cut the top of the shell in the center, then use a knife to split the meat down the center. Sprinkle fresh minced garlic on the meat, add some chunks of stick butter & a lemon wedge.

Wrap in foil & put on the grill. About 10 minutes or so.

When done, remove the foil. Pull the meat out of the shell & enjoy.

These are from yesterday's dives:

I swam my [beeep] off for those bugs. Looking past me, over my right shoulder is north. The edge of the water is 100 yards that way. We're parked as close as we can get, there's no more parking or pavement north of there.

Where we actually started the dives is about 1 mile north of that. Part walk on the beach, part walk in the water & let it take the weight of the gear, part surface swim & finally part underwater swim.

It took 40 minutes both times to just reach the actual starting point to hunt. That time mostly isn't counted as bottom time, just the last part.
