As promised here is the closed reed Rubber rabbit Since it is made from rubber they can really make some funky sounds.. The calls are $15.00 ea, if you would like the open reed and the closed reed you can have the set for $25.00
Since they are rubber, I really cant get into any fancy designs with them so they are just no frills calls that mean business On a lanyard they are quiet no clanging and banging.. I'd like a "short" call voiced as a cottontail (higher-pitch if possible).
I'd also like a "longer" call voiced as jack rabbit.

These will go nicely with the open reed I already have.

I kept the long closed reed to go with the open reed I already have. Now I need more practice with them

ok all i finally got a job working on the family farm for a while so i want to buy one more call before this winter. i cant decide either a closed reed rubber rabbit or .220 swift. based on everyones experience which is more beginner friendly as far as easiest to blow and "best" sound in your opinions?

I'm currently not making the swift, I need to redo my mold, Both the swift and the closed reed are equally easy to use..

Spend the extra $5 or so and get a wooden Swift if Kerry can't make a Rubber one now! Love the sound it makes.


Hey Kerry, when do you think the new mold will be ready for the Rubber Swift call? Wouldn't mind getting one later.

Kerry, got my Rubber Rabbit in the mail Saturday. Closed reed has a great sound. I will have to get you to teach me how to make the bird sound with the open reed.

got my rubber rabbit today for what little bit ive blown it it sounds danged good and they look pretty sexy on the lanyard. im thinking tomorow i may just have to go up the mountains above my grandparents and see what i can do.
