Yes and No to answer your question.

APC sells Tally-Ho calls by Mr. Tally himself.
The Tally-Ho was redesigned awhile back.
The modification to the newer Tally-Ho is very minor.
The tone board of the newer Tally-Ho has a very slight more of a bend to it.
Looking side-by-side you probably wouldn't notice the difference.
The sound is the same.

Circe closed reeds and the johonny stewart pc 3 call
as well as the pied piper call all great calls and stood
the test of time and will still call predators to this day

i too have used the tally ho as my primary call for over 30 years.
the critter call and song dog have been in my arsenal too but i think i got them in the late 80's
weems olt burnham brothers and herters were my first calls then i got a tally hoe.
with as many tally's, cerce's and haydel as i have bought threw the years, used abused and lost, it may have been cheaper to have just bought stock in the companies.
i've used one heck of a lot of calls threw the years and to me the top producing calls of all time {for me} is the
1 tally ho
2 haydel gh cotton tail
3 cerce mvp-4
i use the closed reeds for cotton tail, fawn, bird sounds in conjunction with the tally for howls
i use the tally for jackrabbit and all howls.
