Those are pretty. Do you cut out your basic shape with a saw to start with? Where do you get your rawhide from, I looked all over for some of that a while back and couldn't find anything?
Your brown streaked obsidian looks just like some here that got melted when a high power line went down and made a column about 20 ft long and a foot in diameter.
I really like the one with the little eye guard, nice job.

jumprightinit I use sinew to wrap the handles with and you can find it at tandy leather company or at 3 rivers archery.
3 rivers has some really cool stuff.
#3 knife was cut with a small angle on the bottom edge.
that kife is really cool you can see through it if you hold it up to the light.
look at the pics and you can kinda see the black streaks the obsidian it has in it.
I napp the angles my self. and if your like me you will break alot more then you make lol
but when you break them save the pieces and use them to make arrowheads.
I wish a few powerlines would do that around here lol
