Having a splendid time. Started out yesterday on a quest for quail with DesertRam. Bagged 2 quail, 8 or so rabbits + more shot by him.

Great mexican food for lunch & dinner.

Hunted today with RockinBar, slow action. Coyotes mostly just weren't playing, but we did have 1 stand where 3 came in hot, 2 from the front, 1 from behind. I killed one, saw the one behind Barry & hollered at him. He turned 180 & shot it in the tuckus as it ran away.

2 others called & seen, but no shots.

Shot of the day was one that ran across the roaqd. We bailed out & Barry nailed it with a running head shot at 220 yards.

Barry brought his dog Buster, hunting with him was a blast. Buster wants to kill coyotes & gets real happy when someone does.

Dinner tonight was more fine mexican food with a large number of PMers, got to meet quite a few people already & they're still on the way in.

We both took some pics, not sure when I'll be able to get mine posted. Not tonight, but possibly in the next couple of days.

I don't have a computer so am dependant on what I can borrow.

If you were one of the 2 guys on corrolitas ranch (spelling?) then yes, that was me.

No dogs, but I shot a jack at about 300 yards on the last stand. The 2 guys with me are back out and I think they were planning to go back in there & work the area some more.

Russel & Jeremy, I didn't catch your screen names, sorry. Wondering how it went when you turned that poor abused Ford in at the rental office?

They didnt say much it was dark when I turned it in. That poor explorer saw a tough time. It had 14000 miles when we got it now it looks like it had 214,000 miles on it. It was worth it though we had a blast.

You Guys didnt get to see Bear Man Rick's truck. Man o Man I feel bad for him. We hunted in some areas where you couldn't take a 4 wheeler with out getting scratches on either side. Try taking a full size truck thru there, (thats only 6 months old). All I can say is "Better call Mako".

It was great to see Bear Man Rick recieve his award. His truck now has New Mexico pinstriping (that's what we call it in Las Cruces) and I am sure many others do as well. I had a great time!!
