Wanted: Help from the wise ones.

I just received my new Spitfire and I am ready to some serious calling here in North Missouri. Here are some questions I need to ask:
How far out from my position should I place my mojo critter? What is the best time of day to call? Any advice on using the wind on my set-up? The use of scent attractors? I am so impressed with the knowledge and experience that is on this forum and the fact that you all are willing to share it. Thanks..
 
I'd just take some time to read here and then go out and apply what you learned! Don't give up, they are much harder to killl than deer & turkeys imho, and good luck!
