I went to my first calling contest of the year. I never thought I would wish for more wind while calling. For the first 3 hours of the day there was absolutely no wind. The coyotes heard us coming and we saw them running off in the distance. Once the wind come up to about 10 mph, then we called in and got 3 in 4 sets. Then the wind died down and nothing the rest of the day. Ended up with the 3 and got 5th place. The winning team got 5. At least this got me fired up for the next one in two weeks. I will be praying for wind. Sorry no pictures this time. I will try and get some on the next contest. I believe last year it took 9 to win and a total of 80 or so dogs were taken. Should be fun.
