As most of you are aware, Danny Batastini recently lost his long battle.



Danny left the legacy of being a true predator hunter.
He also left what he started of the Predator Hunting Museum so that those interested in seeing the items he collected, and those wanting to learn about the craft of predator calling can continue to learn and grow.

Predator Masters is very proud to announce another scholarship that bears his name and continues his work.

The Danny Batastini Memorial Scholarship will be awarded anually to a member of Predator Masters, or a child, or grandchild of a member.
As long as Predator Masters has the funds, the $500 scholarship will continue to help educate those that seek knowledge.

The following rules apply:

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Member of Predator Masters or a Child/Grandchild of a member with 100 posts.
2. Pursuing post secondary education
3. Proof of Acceptance to a College/University, or Educational institution
4. Any chosen field of study is acceptable.
5. Applicant must have a 95% attendance rate their Senior Year.

HOW TO APPLY:

The Danny Bataini Scholarship is to be used for the fall Semester/Quarter. Entry Deadline is April 25th each year. (We will post reminders of the scholarship and deadline periodically)

Applications are in the Predator Masters shopping cart. You will be able to download and print them. They will then need to be sent to the address at the bottom of the form.

UPDATE!

Danny's wife, Charlene, has offered to put $500 more towards the Danny Batastini Memorial Scholarship for this year!

So now the scholarship stands at $1000.00 for 2010!

That is very generous of you, Charlene! Plus, it goes to show just what great people they are, and how deserving of this memorial Danny Batastini is.

If there are more donations toward this fund for the school year 2010, please feel free to contact me, and be sure and post them here, or we can post the donations for you as we get them.

When is the application deadline?

The deadline for application is April 25th 2010, just the same as our other scholarships.

We do.

Yes. The same application works for all scholarships.

Is this scholarship only for high school student or for those already enrolled at a university

I believe it has been for Freshmen college students in the past.
Please feel free to send an application in though, as all applicants will be considered.
