22-250 load

I use a 52gr. Berger and a hooooole bunch of Varget powder and it prints little, bitty groups at 100yds. and also at 200yds. Follow the rules, start out low and work up.

Moved the bullet out to .005 off the lands like my friend sugested. The results was very good. Shot 35.5grs. Varget, 50 gr. Vmax, Winchester brass and primer, and the C.O.L. of 2.467 to a group of .437 center bullet hole to center. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I tried several different powders and finally gave H380 a shot when I got 8 lbs. at an auction. My search was over. With 4 different 55 grain bullets and 2 different guns, a Tikka and a Stevens 200, 39.3 grains has worked great for me. Bullets I've used are the Sierra #1360 ptsp, the Sierra 55 HP, the Berger 55 match HP and the MidSouth 55 Extreme.
