you guys may have sen this but i have hours of home videos so here is a short clip.

fat guy get to under 15 yards on Javanlina

i always keep my bow in my truck when calling south Texas you just never know what you may see ..

the stalk started at over 350 yards and i never new there were all the others in the brush till the shot javi started screaming.
i think what happened was his family group thought the others hurt him that why the fighting

my cheep camera is all i have so sorry for the bad footage
footage was from a ranch we lease in south texas



we only shoot what we are going to mount so we try and not kill allwe come across

Me too. Sanitarium on the violin. Took me a minute to recognize it.

That rescue operation was pretty involved. The little guy was probably considering himself part of the family before it was over.

You don't eat the little psuedo-pig?

When I was at school at NMSU we'd have an annual game banquet and one year I was in charge of the javelina. I BBQ'ed it up and it came out so good that I ate half of it driving to the banquet. But that's my only experience with it.
