i have never purchased, or plan to purchase a nc star.
i have first hand, managed to shoot a 50 bmg at 300 meters with one and it held up fine. we never moved turrets, so no knowledge on tracking. but it stayed zeroed. i would not do it or waste money but he did and it was working for him.
i prefer bushnell 3200 at minimum. i have to say on a tacticool note. the falcon menace mil/mil scopes are a great buy for the money and work great with the ballistic program on my iphone!! these scopes are priced fair in the $300-500 range and i have had great luck with 3 so far.
