Egg Shoot participates number in the single digits, considering whats being given away your odds of winning are really good. Also whats not pictured are the 3 throphies that are not commercially made and are to die for! They are made out of Oak, Jatoba and Purpleheart. We need more shooters to really make this a competition!!!

I see a couple have paid for the egg shoot the last day or 2. About half the guys signed up at the shoot last year.

Theres no doubt, I'd take the AR too, I can make the trophy.

Kevin, If you just go into the shopping cart you should be able to purchase the Egg Shoot, you have already registered.

Was supposed to catch a C130 for Baghdad a few hours ago but they cancelled the flight. It may work out for the best as they are talking about bringing in a charter flight tomorrow and flying us straight to Dubai (spending a night at the transit center in Baghdad is not fun).

I was planning to try to get in at least a little practice, but the plane was cancelled today and is cancelled again tomorrow so I may not have a whole lot of practice time.

Leon - Range time ... what range time ... ... I haven't shot seriously since the last egg shoot so you and I are on similar footing. Thanks for the offer of the 870, it's tempting but I've got an 870 of my own. I'm picking up the AR on Friday, now if I can only find some bullets and powder. It's a 223 AI, I've got an AI, but you know how those wildcats and chambers are. I am hoping to get some range time in this weekend. I hope you can get some trigger time in as well.......

Yes, you can register to shoot at the hunt, but you must also be registered for the hunt ($25).

Funny funny, funny. I see you still got your sense of humor Leon. Like anyone in their right mind would believe that the hmr has enough energy to kill a prairie dog at 250 yards, Will a 17gr. v-max even fly that far? :D Let alone feeding everyone the line that I was actually hitting any of them past 100 yards. You apparently missed my earlier post where I state that I'm happy to hit a prairie dog at 200 yards and tickled to kill a coyote at 300 yards. let alone being able to hit an egg beyond 100 yards.

I wish that i could make it this year. I just got back from a javelina hunt on the res. we didn't get the pigs but we did find some time to make five stands. called in 4 but only got 1.
