Yep. one more.

some of ya know, some dont, most prolly dont care, but i wanna get the SureShot Stock for my 870. Probem is I cant get the stock in the same camo patter that is on my gun.
It came with a factory finish of RealTree Hardwood.

My question is. do I need to remove the camo finish? If so, how?

Is it ok just to give it a good cleanin and do er up wit the Krylon?

Have you looked at some of the "Snake Skin" patterns that Cabelas used to carry (don't know if they still do)??

You might find a close match in one of them and if you don't like it, you can always remove it and go back to plan B *whatever that is*....

what are u going to use it for?

i wanted to get it too for turkeys pheasants and coyote but it wouldnt work for pheasant at all. I shouldered one at scheels and was diapointed. The cheak area is raised and you cant get low enough on the gun to look straight across the vent rib shoot high every time. There made for scopes, red dots or high open sights.

Hmm... well i was gonna use it for just about everything. Chuckar and Sagehen. Dove, dogs, and clay pigeon. i like the open sights on a shotgun thatd be a bummer if this ruined it. maybe ill wait for to put it on before i bust out the Krylon.
thanks for the tip!
