Those of you that know the area of the hunt and would be willing to take new guys out please post here!

We need guides to show the newbie attendees around.

Any help is appreciated!

ALSO,

If you are new & attending the hunt...you probably need a guide. Please let me know if that is the case so I can stay on top of the guide to hunter ratio! Please post here as well.

Thanks!

Barry

Barry, I would assume that there would be some kind of maps that we could buy, that can be used to find our way around. If so, maybe some of the guys that know the area would be able point newbies in the right direction on the maps?

That is very doable. Rez maps are available on-line, or you can buy them there.

There is a lot of map looking in the evenings.

Guy's

Come on there are more of you guy's out there that know the area.

If you can not guide then bring your marked maps so that the area information can be shared with all.

I am bring all my maps that i have marked up with areas that were good and areas that was not for the time of those hunts back then.

So it is old information but it will let the folks know a little about the roads and the critters that was seen back then.

I have gone out there twice since the last hunt and I have been up dating new maps with the new information for this year. Yes I am willing to share all the areas I have gone too.

See you all there.

Thanks Kevin!

Great advice. We need a few more people that are familiar with the area that would act as a guide.

Just let me know.

Thanks,

barry

Dang

I know I am not the only one that has been out hunting these areas and can share what knowlage I have on where to go and how to get the Desert Critters.

Come on guy's even this slow one footed, mental person should not be the only one to guide.

What happens if I break my peg who will step up and help guide?

I am 'familiar' with the area having become familiar with much of the Superstitions and working on a mine strike @ Hayden/ years ago. I may be able to get several good TOPO maps of the areas from my 'sources' and I am a good friend of Chief Joe Martinez @ Kearny Police Department directly south of Globe. I've booked prisoners @ the Madison Street Jail in Phoenix and can give a brief briefing of the reasons NOT to get any any trouble in Arizona with the LAW!

Sheriff Joe Arpiao is...REASON #1!

Pitch

Sorry to hear that you can not make the hunt.

Maybe next time you are down here we can hook up and I can get you out in some good areas then.

Take Care.

Think I'll check out the on line mail sources of TOPO maps and maybe recent aerial photo maps.

Is there an approximate COUNT on how many might be needing/wanting a set? I'd be glad to provide some of it as my contribution to the Hunt and as a tax write off...

(Though semi-retired, I still pay Uncle Sam's taxes!)

Sam

I have ordered 10 USGS maps that are current maps and not the maps pf 1986 that I have.

I am willing to share them with all first come first serve here.

See you all there.
