Songdog,
You should enter anyway! The entry fee goes to help PM and it is a real good time to boot. Not to mention the fact that you can win a tricked out DTECH rifle!

I've never been so nervous shooting in my life as I was on the line last year. I'm a lowsy shot anyway, but was shaking like a leaf from adrenaline. Definitely worth joining in the fun!

Sean,
I hope Dave brings that TAC20! I need to check that sucker out...
My 6x45s are both friggin' tackdrivers, but I may only bring the little one with the 1-4X scope on it. Not the best glass for scramblin' @ 200yds...

I can fit another upper in the case so may as well drag one more along. I'm torn between the other 6x45 or the 25 Wizzer. Both 6x45s shoot inside the Wizzer for groups, but I really wanna smoke some yotes with that 25Wizzer too. I may just wind up using it for the Egg shoot since it's wearing 10x max glass. And I'll be able to find that clunky brass easy enough in the sand...

Either way, I can't wait for Globe!!!

There is allmost 2000.00 worth of prizes in this package. 50 bucks to have some fun and possibly win is a bargain. There will be at least 8 people that will break even or better.

Might just see what it looks like Friday before I decide to pony up the big bucks. $50 bucks, is $50 bucks, unless you are BO! Just for originality I might enter with my old (48) Winchester Model 77 .22LR. It's an antique!

Maybe I should be allowed something like a 'handicap' like they allow you in the great game of golf and it makes sense as they are using Golf Tees to set up the EGGS. We'll be real lucky if the SPCA doesn't show up to stop the slaughter of unborn baby chicks!

Think it could'n happen? Think again!

Wonder if we could get Tiger Woods to give us the TEES?

How do they know how many eggs are going to be needed?

I hate to sit this one out, but I also hate to take a poor position in a competition.

Last time I was in a marksmanship competition in Arizona I won it, still have the trophy, but am not sure I could duplicate that performance @ elevation there in Globe!

I'll be bringing my D-Tech 204 Ruger, hope its not windy.
I am sure I will just donate my 50 bucks but it is for a good cause. Who knows maybe someone else will break my egg-does that count?
Does anyone have a ballistics chart for Hornady ammo, 40 grn 204 Ruger? I need at least a guesstimate as to trajectory past 100 yds, it's about an hour drive to any rifle range that has 200+ yards and it's been to friggin cold to shoot anyway.
Thanks

forgot to ask...

Did any shooters last year show up early at the range to "zero" in under the conditions for the day?

Same question for this year, can shooters arrive at the range early on Saturday to shoot our rigs before the Egg Shoot this year?

Reason for asking is that I may want to switch to a higher power scope for the Egg Shoot than I'd otherwise be using on stand and would welcome the opportunity to get squared away somewhat before the "sighters" allowed in the Shoot...

I don't think anyone did. If you remember, the range guy gave a little safety talk and all of us had to sign a waiver form.

Then we had to set up the eggs and all that. I'm not sure if there will be time this year or not.

Thanks Sean.
Really don't want to hamstring myself with the chance to win such a beautiful rifle.
I'm sure the winning shooter will have to break at least a 300yd egg again and 4X ain't gonna cut it...

Guess I could pull off somewhere and get it done quick enough beforehand...

You will be able to zero the guns at each leg of the match. There will be a sightin period on the target board at each distance. You will get two shots to do it immediatelyt prior to each leg.

If someone else shoots your egg, it is his problem. Each lane will be numbered and if the egg in your lane breaks, you will advance. One guy actually shot the tee that held the egg one time. The egg broke when it hit the board the tees were placed in. He advanced.

If your egg gets broken during the alloted time limit, you advance
