.243 bullets for yotes

my first yote i took with the .243 was at 40yds with 100gr core-lokt through the ribs exit was the size of a 50 cent piece after the pelt was tanned exit is about the size of a ovaled quarter.

i was wondering what off the shelf ammo to purchase that is pelt friendly for my .243 i have the Rem. 700 SPS-V right now it is dialed in with the aformentioned Rem. ammo 3" high at 100yds and near center at 200yds sub MOA. should i change to a lower grain my twist rate is 1:91/8" and i was thinking on using the 58gr vmax moly rounds.

i shouldnt have any shots over 300yds at the most if they hang up on me other then that my closest was 40yds with another .243 and the same 100gr CL's and left a 50 cent piece exit through the ribs.

now i dont sell my pelts but i do like to display the nice ones.

55 gr BT at 4200fps has my vote for the .243. The ones I've hit were opened up like pop cans. They don't go far after that. Prairie dogs love them also, They get plenty of hang time.

So what load do you use to get 4200?
