It is early for sure but these unusually warm temps probably have them thinking about coming out. I do a lot of shoot groundhog shooting but we don't usually see them out until about mid April here. I've been thinking about doing some scouting myself

Rock I see a difference between aluminum and Stainless steel mags in one rifle. I usually hunt with 5rd mags and use a marker to remind me which rifle to run them in.

Yes, the level of scammery here is low, because the activity is low. We still need to figure a way to make the site financially sustainable, or it will be gone completely.

I’ve used the .25-06 for 45 years and it is a great cartridge. I bought it in 1978 to hunt groundhogs in Ohio. A group of us used to hunt every weekend. That .25-06 made some mighty long shots compared to the guns my friends used.

I agree with all of the above tips if you have them coming go to less volume if they stop try a coaxer sound that has worked for me at times. Keep after them and good luck.
