C&H made a adaptor for the Herters presses to use standard shell holders, I have one on my Lyman TruLine Jr press that I use for trimming now..the Lyman used to be my go-to for reloading the bugs(Hornet and Bee), I bought a 7/8x14 head for it to

Those loads marked "target" aren't match bullets that are designed for accuracy. They are full metal case/jacketed bullets for plinking and shooting at targets - not for game/varmints/self defense like a hollowpoint or softpoint bullet. I

Shot the rifle again today. At 50 yds, the "Target" bullets and the HP's shot about the same. Both shot a decent size group. When I went to 100yds, the "Target" bullets accuracy fell apart in my opinion and the HP's shot much much

I don't dislike snakes and will let all non-venomous snakes pass and sometimes even venomous types unless they are near the house or someplace where the wife or grandkids might get bitten.

Sorry for late reply. Standard Accu-Trigger. Also I just sent the rifle back to Savage as the bore looks like a D4 Cat drove down it. Coppers up bad and fast, took forever to go the Copper out. They said about 5-8 weeks turn around time.

I shoot lots of wildcats that would have shoulder setbackband I can't use a standard die/holder interface. Some bumo shoulders back 10-20 thousands. I use a bench grinder to pull 0.010 tp 0.020 off the top. I don't care if it's perfectly even as it

Night hunting has been a game changer here in Oklahoma. Nothing is used to being called at night and the action can get wild in a hurry. I’m having a blast.

Rattlers and coral snakes are only poisonous snakes in the area, we don't have timber rattlers, copperheads or mocasins fortunately. This is a picture of a good Indigo on the wall in our camp kitchen (don't know who took it). I'm not a fan of snakes

I grind the tops off all my shell holders. It works well for me and I'm not stressing the press to boot. Greg

Grinding shell holders for headspace is a new one on me..... Generally, the reason to shorten a shell holder is due to a long chamber and/or die, which means the die bottoms out the top of the shell holder before the shoulder can be bumped back far
