Looks like BH6pt set the bar high! That’s pretty darn good, didn’t anyone tell you they don’t make accurate ARs?

We never lip squak at coyotes because at least 50% of the coyotes will panic when they here a lip squeak comming from a different direction than the sound you are playing on your e-caller. If we don't have a shotgun on stand we mute the sound on our

Well shot placement means a lot. A long time ago, I shot a big male coyote in Northern MO with a 85gr HPBT out of my 243 at about 75 yards away. It acted like I missed it and it ran about 50 yrds before it expired. I put a golf ball sized hole in i

I agree with Junki and Ram...let'em keep coming, they are already interested in the call. If they are pausing like you said I might drop the volume. Sometimes that can get them to commit. But great job with the set up. Sounds like you've learned

OK... hit the range this am to shoot some groups for this post. My excuses... 1) all my rifles are home-builds using "affordable" parts, no high-dollar barrels or optics; 2) all the ammo used is home-rolled using BASIC reloading techniqu

I will agree with Borkon, that I also like the 55gr Sierra SBT, #1365 I think it is. that was my main bullet in my 22-250 AI. and I use it in my 223 Kimber Montana. IMO 25-30 lb coyotes really are not that hard to kill if you can place your shot (at

I would have left the original sound play. Don't change unless the coyote does. There was no reason to lip squeak. All that did was move his attention from the e caller to you. In short, if we was coming, let him come. Take the first high percentag

1. IMO, if they are coming into the call, don't change anything, let them come in. If they are getting too close you can bark, yell hey, or other sound to try and stop them. Then Don't Miss! Laff'n The more you call in and can read them, Ears up, al
