Has anybody killed an albino deer

During turkey season I was walking to my blind and saw a albino doe. If you have some pictures pictures of an albino deer youv'e seen or shot would you post them.

Where did you see her? I've never seen one. I saw a picture of some. If I remember correctly they inhabit a military base in upstate NY where they are common. The population is isolated so the genetic trait has been able to flourish. Anyone else know about this? PC

those are Seneca Deer in New York, White fur, brown eyes. Albino will be pink eyes...no pigment.

A true albino is a pretty rare thing. There is a white buck in a little town near here. They see it all the time. Really neat to find it. Have i ever shot an albino or white deer? Nope. They are pretty rare. You should get a trail cam and gets pics somehow. IT is always neat to see.

Yeah, thats what I was thinking about. I guess white deer and albino deer are different. Here are few links I found.

Here are the pics of the local deer that is White.... Again look closely albinos have pink noses eyes etc. However white deer are not that common.

A few years ago I shot a deer, I guess you'd call it "piebald". it's head was mostly brown, but the rest of it is speckled, almost like an apalosa's butt. really pretty hide, it's on the back of the couch now. not sure how to post pics, i'll try later. it was a white-tail.

I have heard of one now and then. My dad was a deputy sheriff and he was called to go see a deer hit by a car. He sent me the pictures he took, it was an eight point doe. There was a clip in a newspaper last fall, a guy shot a ten point doe. T.20

A guy emailed me this picture and said he wanted to to know if I thought if it was albino or not I said I thought so because it has a pink nose but it does not have pink eyes is what he told me. I would like to hear some opions on wether this is a PieBald.

I just looked at the picture, it's nose is pink. i guess a true albino is 1 in a million? i've never laid eyes on one that white. wonder where that picture was taken?

Albino deer are protected here in Illinois. Don't ask me the logic behind that law.

That is a strange law. i guess, really albinos are inferior? compared to the rest of the herd. i had people ask if i was going to eat my speckled doe, which of corse we did. as well as i remember it was tasty too.
