ATF and Powder

A buddy mentioned this a while back and another sent me a video a few days ago about the ATF wanting to regulating how much powder we can have. Anyone heard anything about this?

I think you can only have 20 lbs of gunpowder in California so there has been plenty of guys that reload breaking the law in California for a long time.

As long as the gunpowder is loaded up in ammo there is no limit to how much gunpowder you can have.

They don't want you to have plastic straws, gas stoves or gas water heaters. Makes sense they wouldn't want us to have powder. They can't seem to get enough of their private jets and millions of dollars though. Weird.

The guy on the video said the ATF might come to your door and ask to see your powder. I have two bottles of baby powder in my bathroom. Hope that satisfies them.

Seriously though? AFT knocking on doors without definite suspicion that a law has been broken?

FWIW .... they can't just go randomly "looking" for anything without reasonable and just cause. The resulting civil lawsuits would destroy them in short order. The internet myth of them "coming to your house" is nonsense.

Come election time we need to elect a majority of conservative thug gangster patriot aholes who want to do something useful like pass legislation such as H.R. 374 Abolish the ATF Act . Instead of electing a bunch of RINOs who want to be reasonable with marxists and globalism.

This organization really serves no other purpose than to make felons out of normal law abiding people. An organization which helps arm some of the worlds most dengerous and violent drug cartels through schemes and operations called fast and furious.

If my memory is correct, was stationed up state NY late 1960's you had to obtain either a sportsman or an explosive license depending on the amount of powder you had or wanted to purchase. If over a certain amount had to be stored in a magazine. You had to provide a photo and prints for this license just like a pistol permit.
