Thermals multiply! Super Yoter R50 ordered!

After having my Hogster R35 for the past two years and after hours of research I decided it was time to move up to a 640 thermal. Went with the Super Yoter R50. I’ve grown used to using the Bering optics menu and zeroing and such so wanted to stay with what I was comfortable with. Kirsch was a big help as always with my questions. He gives such a strong endorsement of the product by using it over the myriad of other thermals out there. Can’t wait to get it. Keeping my R35 for a backup or in case a buddy wants to go who doesn’t have a thermal.

Congrats on your purchase. I have one & I love it. I’m betting you will think the same. One downside…once I went 640, I feel seriously handicapped when using a 384.

I too have a few Bering thermals .

When I purchased my super Hogster I kept the hogster r35 and have been using it as a scanner

After a nearly 2 years, I bought a super yoter 50.
Now the super Hogster is used As a buddy gun or it sits in safe .

You will be very happy with your purchase

When I was deciding to move to a 640 core thermal I read until my eyes bled about many different models. I just couldn’t go away from the super Yoter. All the reviews are very very positive. Kirsch and his videos sealed the deal. Thinking I’ll sell the R35 now. I have it listed for a heck of a price in the classifieds if anyone knows anyone looking for a 384 core thermal. $1950 shipped. Still has over two years of factory warranty left.

Got the super Yoter and mounted it to my Sig Cross. Weather today is windy and rain so hoping to get it zero’d next day or two. Took it out back last night and was really impressed with the clarity of the 640 resolution. Read over the manual and the small differences in operation between this Yoter and my R35 Hogster are minimal. I love the LaRue mount. Rock solid. Now I’m just trying to decide on which reticle to use while hunting. Very satisfied so far with initial impressions.
